Recruitment Consultant / Operations Coordinator

Location: Sheffield - hybrid / flexible

Salary: £27k to £35k plus bonus

Ref: AMR 234

Type: Permanent

My client is truly one of the best in Sheffield and are passionate about making a real difference in people’s careers and lives. They are a warm, forward-thinking company based, working across two exciting areas: recruitment and career coaching. The recruitment arm focuses on matching talented people with amazing companies, while the career coaching is all about empowering individuals to achieve their professional goals through coaching and development.

As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a bright, energetic, and adaptable person to join them. This is a unique opportunity to become part of both businesses, helping to shape their future and make a positive impact. They are looking for someone who’s excited about being part of something that’s evolving and who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, get involved, and bring ideas to the table.

This role is all about variety, collaboration, and growth. You’ll be working across both businesses, helping to streamline operations, provide amazing service to clients, and support their recruitment and coaching processes. No two days will be the same, and as the company grows, your role will evolve with it. They’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with a bit of flexibility and change – someone who can help to build the foundations for something really special.

What you’ll be doing:

For the Recruitment

Recruitment administration: From writing job specs to advertising them across platforms, you’ll be managing the end-to-end process for recruitment roles. You’ll be in touch with candidates and clients, keeping everyone in the loop and making sure everything runs smoothly.

System support: Helping to tidy up their systems and make things more efficient. There are templates and workflows in place, but there’s room for improvement. You’ll be helping to automate processes and ensure everything’s working seamlessly.

Client support: You'll be working with clients to make sure their recruitment needs are being met, keeping them updated, and helping move things forward. Your role will be key in keeping the relationship strong.

For the Career Coaching

Coaching administration: You’ll assist in creating and promoting their coaching services, scheduling sessions, and making sure clients are supported throughout their coaching journey.

Client interaction: You’ll help manage relationships with the coaching clients, making sure they feel heard and supported. Whether it’s taking initial briefs or checking in during coaching sessions, you’ll be there to help people reach their goals.

Across both businesses (general operations)

Business development and client relations: You don’t have to be a sales expert, but if you’re confident on the phone and enjoy building relationships, this is a great way for you to help both businesses grow. You’ll be helping to build connections, both with new clients and existing ones.

Improving systems: Helping the company to fine-tune their workflows, identifying ways to improve efficiency, and ensuring that operations run smoothly across both businesses. You’ll play an essential part in building the systems that will grow with them.

We want to work with someone who’s excited to grow with us, not just someone who can tick off a list of tasks.

Here’s what they’re hoping for:

Experience: Ideally, you’ll have experience in administration, recruitment, or account management, and if you’ve worked in coaching or personal development, that’s a bonus! We’re mainly looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and has a positive, can-do attitude.

Skills: If you’re great at managing different projects at once, can communicate clearly, and have strong attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you. Tech-savviness is a plus - whether that’s managing systems or improving workflows.

Mindset: Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a growth mindset - someone who thrives on change and is ready to help shape the future of our businesses. If you're adaptable, enthusiastic, and excited about being part of a growing team, you’ll fit right in!

Personality: You’ll need to have a lot of energy, be super reliable, and have a professional but friendly approach to everything you do. We work hard, but we also want to enjoy the journey and create a positive environment.

Joining this company means being an integral part of a growing team – one that’s passionate, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making a difference. You’ll be given the freedom to shape your role, take on new challenges, and have a real impact on how they grow and develop. As the company grows, so will your opportunities - whether that’s taking on more responsibility, learning new skills, or advancing in your career.

Plus, the company believe in work-life balance, so we offer hybrid working and flexibility to help you balance your personal and professional life. If you're ready for a challenge and want to help make a difference in people’s careers while developing your own, we'd love to hear from you!
