HR Business Partner - Tech Digital

Location: Hybrid - Sheffield City Centre

Salary: up to £60,000 + benefits

Our client, a forward-thinking organisation with a strong focus on technology and innovation, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a high-performing Tech/Digital client group and play a key role in shaping the people strategy in a modern, fast-paced environment.

The Role

As HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with senior managers to deliver people solutions across the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on:

  • Performance management
  • Employee engagement
  • Wellbeing
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • You’ll also coach and support leaders to grow capability, attract and retain top talent, and embed a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders within a designated client group
  • Provide strategic and operational HR support across transformation projects, including organisational change, TUPE, and workforce planning
  • Drive initiatives in wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Lead talent planning, succession, and career development conversations
  • Advise on and manage complex employee relations matters
  • Support pay benchmarking, performance calibration and reward cycles
  • Deliver people insights and HR data to inform decision making
  • Contribute to the wider People strategy and support business objectives

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Background:

  • HR generalist experience within a global or fast-paced business, ideally in the tech sector
  • Proven track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Strong employee relations and performance management experience
  • Comfortable leading on organisational change and transformation
  • Familiarity with HRIS and using data to deliver HR insights

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong grasp of UK employment law (international exposure desirable)
  • Experience with talent management, workforce design and DEI initiatives
  • Strategic thinker with strong influencing and coaching skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience across multiple HR initiatives
  • Qualifications:
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Coaching or mediation qualification desirable
