Anna Maher Recruitment is working in partnership with a growing and highly successful digital business to recruit a Web Manager — a genuinely unique opportunity for someone looking for long-term career ownership and progression.

While the position requires strong hands-on technical capability, it also offers the scope to evolve into a leadership role, making it ideal for either an experienced senior web developer ready for the next step or an existing web manager looking for autonomy and influence.

The Role

You will take responsibility for managing and developing the company’s web platforms, ensuring performance, usability and ongoing commercial growth.

This is a hands-on position where you will both deliver high-quality development work and contribute strategically to the future direction of the web function.

Over time, there is genuine opportunity to grow and lead this area of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop WordPress-based websites
  • Deliver high-quality front-end development and continuous website improvements
  • Optimise performance, user experience, and conversion
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth objectives
  • Take ownership of website strategy and ongoing development roadmap
  • Identify opportunities to enhance functionality and digital performance
  • Contribute to the future growth of the web function, with potential to build a team

About You

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with a long-term mindset.

You will ideally:

  • Have strong commercial experience with WordPress development
  • Be confident working hands-on while also thinking strategically
  • Have a leadership mindset or ambition to grow into a leadership role
  • Ideally have exposure to Shopify (desirable but not essential)
  • Be seeking stability and long-term career investment
  • Value collaboration and want to become part of a close-knit, values-driven business
