Receptionist - Wellbeing Centre

Location: S11

Salary: £13 per hour

Ref: AMR 222

Type: Part Time, permanent - Mondays 9.15pm to 4.00pm

My client is a wellbeing centre based in S11 and embraces the principles of ‘whole person wellness’, recognising the effects of their contribution to this, no matter how small their interactions may be. They value the contribution of diverse approaches, practices and therapies and aim to provide a space to exchange and share information about the work of all their different Therapists in the building and to welcome clients.

The Role

They are looking for a wellbeing receptionist with excellent customer service skills who will greet guests, answer enquiries, managing appointments and provide a positive first impression for the centre.  The receptionist will need to have a good understanding of all the services available to the clients and be able to explain these in a friendly and clear manner.  They will be required to do some administration duties, handling payments and invoices, selling products and ordering supplies.  We are looking for someone who is organised with strong communication skills, great attention to detail and with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Personal Skills/qualities

  • Present in a calm, open and friendly manner with an excellent telephone manner
  • Previous customer facing experience and administration skills
  • Ability to keep calm and professional in difficult situations and work well under pressure
  • Have the ability to engage with people of all ages, in a manner which makes them feel welcomed, cared for and valued
  • Understand that clients may not always with to engage (for a variety of reasons) and respect this whilst remaining friendly and welcoming
  • Represent and promote the values of the clinic such as respect, equality, tolerance, diversity, confidentiality, compassion, care and kindness
  • Be organised with great attention to detail and a good multi-tasker
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic customer-focused mindset
  • Competent computer literacy is essential as entering patient records, sales, accounts, data, etc is required to ensure accurate daily administration
  • The ensure health and safety legislation is complied with at all times and report any accidents and untoward incidents following procedure
